Production Blog: Filming Day 2

So today is our last day of filming. Today we had planned on using the basketball court. However, again today the park had way to many people there. So for social distancing purposes we made to sure to keep the social distancing rule in effect in our own bubble of people. We decided to just use the field and the outskirts of the basketball court to avoid human contact with others.

It was that last day of filming and the more we move into the filming process the more dramatic it was. So I had a part where I needed to drop to the floor crying and I did it. Consequently, I didn’t expect the ground to hurt as much as it did. So when the take was over I needed to make sure that I hadn’t bruised my knees. When I got up my mother had the first aid kit ready just in case but I was okay it was just a graze from a rock no bleeding and harm done.

The camera did die on us but we continued to film using our back up device. As we came to our closing remarks we decided to blog a little and make some blooper videos to keep for memories. Seeing as this was a lot of work we didn’t let that detour us from why we did this is the first place. We did managed to enjoy it all the way we wanted to the entire time. The filming was now complete and we were moving on to the next step.

The editing process, we all could finally relax and just enjoy being at the park. After giving Rohanna the SD card for the camera and making sure we got all the takes we needs we began to enjoy one another’s company for a while and then it was time to go home and get back to work.
