Planning: Storyboard "Dear Mother"

A dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship is the subject of our short film. The first shot of the first scene is of the outside of a house, which sets the tone for Roxy and Ms. Jackie's home. The shot then moves on to the interior of the house. Roxy is shouted at by her mother about housework in the next scene, which is more focused on the performers' relationships. There is a close-up of food on the floor, which Roxy must clean up as part of her tasks. This scene shows her and her mother going back and forth. Her mother then goes to the bathroom in the next scene. Roxy receives a phone call from a friend, prompting Roxy to see her pal. The short film moves on to the next scene. This takes place in Emma's house, which is a friend of hers. They're in Emma's room, discussing Roxy's mother's treatment of her. The entire time they are chatting, this sequence is shot in two shots. Roxy receives a call from her mother, and her eyes begin to water. Emma's mother brings Roxy home later. The scene has now returned to Ms. Jackie's house, which was the first setting. Roxy is home alone and talking to Emma on the phone. Ms. Jackie then returns home and overhears Roxy making derogatory remarks about her to Emma. Then they have a verbal altercation, and Roxy flees. There are some dramatic noises in this scenario, such as hearing her run and whining. Emma's mother then takes her up from the park and the two have a brief talk in the car.

* I am not sure what is going on but my Microsoft subscriptions says I am not allowed to export and convert the storyboard to a video therefore I cannot upload it as a video. I also tried paying for a new account and it still wouldn't allow me to. I will have to try to adjust the problem as soon as I get to another laptop to see if I can try again and get different results.

Production Blog: Spring Break is Over

So we are back from spring break today and everything is in order. Although, we did not film and we did not communicate over the break. I could have predicted that but in that time I did text one group member Nishayla and she was talking to me about an idea she had about changing a scene by the pond I'm not to sure what is was about I don't really remember. However, if any changes are to be made then everything will be adjusted so everything aligns properly. That is if she decides to bring it up to the group.       We decided to do icebreakers have discussed our grades and how our break was before getting to the hard work.  In doing so, we came to agreement that things over the break cleared up and the break gave us time to organize our lives to get everything in order. Fortunately we now have clear schedules allowing us time to film. Unfortunately though in the last minute I did happen to misplace my camera and I eventually will find i...
