CCR: REFLECTON TO COMMERCIAL

So today I have finally gotten a break from life. My aunt has been pregnant these past nine months and yesterday she was induced so she is in the process of having the baby as I type. I have been so busy helping my aunt and godparents prep for the baby that I actually left away from home my mother and siblings of course I kept in contact but my assistance was needed over here considering they had other children in the house.
So I have been at my aunt's house from almost a month or so now and I have been taking care of the kids and helping them with school it interfered with my work and classes sometimes but I didn't have anyone around to ask for help so I ended up stuck and having to just deal with it but its okay I just have to catch you guys up started with my commercial blog.  My commercial is challenging conventions by deteriorating the idea that NIKE and Under Amour are businesses that are all about money.
Whether the school work has to get done during practice or not the work and effort put in by those who do have it as easy as the rest of society tends to become the best versions of themselves and become our future leaders of tomorrow because they understand the idea of making due with what they have in front of them.
A flat basketball on a rainy day on an outside court with only a few hours to spare before its time to hit the books. It could be present as a commercial on cable shows or as an intro to a documentary on Netflix that goes into depth on the message behind it.
I had to work on my own with this one so I used the tilt shift and a lot of close up shots. I had two editing tools that I used one came with the laptop that I used. I did everything in small takes and trimmed into even smaller clips. I had to add a voiceover to make this commercial the way I wanted it. The process was long but I managed to get through and gained a new god brother along the way.

Planning: Storyboard "Dear Mother"

A dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship is the subject of our short film. The first shot of the first scene is of the outside of a house, which sets the tone for Roxy and Ms. Jackie's home. The shot then moves on to the interior of the house. Roxy is shouted at by her mother about housework in the next scene, which is more focused on the performers' relationships. There is a close-up of food on the floor, which Roxy must clean up as part of her tasks. This scene shows her and her mother going back and forth. Her mother then goes to the bathroom in the next scene. Roxy receives a phone call from a friend, prompting Roxy to see her pal. The short film moves on to the next scene. This takes place in Emma's house, which is a friend of hers. They're in Emma's room, discussing Roxy's mother's treatment of her. The entire time they are chatting, this sequence is shot in two shots. Roxy receives a call from her mother, and her eyes begin to water. Emma's mot...

Short Film Research: ( Migrants/ Drama)

This short film was 8 minutes long and the plot was pretty easy to figure out basically there were polar bears being pushed out of their home lands due to global warming and exiled from brown bear territory being left to fend for themselves on the ocean. In the beginning of the short there was a climax point where the baby polar bear fell of the ice and into the water from the ice breaking and the mother jumps after the baby. This was a great way to start the film it immediately introduce the drama factor that a film should have lots of heart racing and anticipating moments. There was a conflict with the polar bears and the brown bears over food and the was another great way to help deliver a message. Although it is animated the film didn't use and real dialogue just animal noises such as grunts and snorts and well as instrumental music in the background.     It reminds me of how lonely many of us are. It can be interpreted as a political manifesto, ...

Comparing 9, the short, and 9, the full-length movie

The Short: My first impressions of the 9 short film was a bit confusing and when things slowly began to make sense in the end we were left with a weird cliff hanger and although it didn't make much sense seeing the numbers stitched onto other ghost dolls backs before the screen goes out helps establish that there is more to the story and that the is an explanation to what we were seeing. We couldn't really tell what the plot was in the beginning of the short it was hard to put two and two together but after seeing the  ghost dolls it can an appeal of an post-apocalyptic event that happened with 9 being the only survivor of his kind in the all out war. In the character development you could see that 9 was alert and nervous yet curious to find out whats going on and what he can do to survive. The character built a sense of fight or flight mode during the chaos in the short. We saw that there were lots of special effects i'm ...
